EarthBites works closely with PACS, teachers & students, transforming their school garden space into outdoor classrooms which are fully utilized & integrated into the school curriculum.
The Earth Bites team visits the school once a week throughout the school year – leading seasonal workshops such as growing garlic, apple tasting, busy bees, micro-greens & spring planting. Each workshop involves working in the garden (planning, planting, harvesting, composting & more) & creating a healthy & nutritious seasonal snack.
During the colder months, students learn to create eco-products such as soy candles, rosemary salts & apple chips which are sold at school pocket markets. All money raised is used to buy soil, seeds, plants & more to keep their school garden thriving.
At the end of the year, there is a School Feast, for which students & teachers come together to create salads, pastas & drinks from the veggies & fruits grown in their garden.

EarthBites offers a series of fun & inspirational one off & seasonal workshops for teachers & students, allowing them to eat & grow with the seasons.
These workshops will allow you to make the most of your school food garden & if you don’t have your own food growing space – no worries – our team will introduce you to the world of container gardening!
